Bees Action Network

We would like to thank Julian Lennon's White Feather Foundation for its generous donation helping us supply organic bee-loving seeds to food growers. www.whitefeatherfoundation.com
Bees are in crisis. Agrichemical overload is causing their death in drastic numbers, lowering their resistance to mites and disease, and bees are also suffering from malnutrition due to modern monoculture farming practices.
Bees and other pollinators account for up to 200 million pounds a year to the UK economy.
They supply a third of the food on our plates.
They pollinate a great variety of vegetables, herbs and wildflowers
They pollinate animal fodder so they are also responsible for the meat on your plate.
The bee also pollinates a wide variety of garden plants and wildflowers.
The damage to our food supply, the environment and the very look of the countryside if bee and other pollinator decline is not halted cannot be overstated.
Bee Design
You cannot better bee design. The bee has been around for millennia, coping with climate change like the ice age and is a master of adaptation.
Until now that is. What is it about modern life that is so deadly for the bee?
It is becoming increasingly apparent that bees are suffering from
chemical overload
lack of forage and habitat
